Physiotherapy Booking
When booking a physiotherapy assessment it is always best to book at least one follow up treatment appointment to get the time you need.
We do have a cancellation policy of 24 hours notice or a fee of $25.00 may be charged.
The first physiotherapy assessment is approximately 40 minutes long, with a full assessment, hands on time, exercise and modalities used. We have a wide variety of ways of treatment at our clinic.
If you are booking an appoinment with a therapist for:
- Shoulder, neck, upper back - please wear or bring a tank top or loose t-shirt to change in to.
- Mid-lower back, lower extremeties ex. knee, thigh, hip, etc - please wear or bring a t-shirt, shorts and running shoes to change in to.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for all initial appointments, as we will have paperwork for you to fill out when you arrive.
You will be reminded of your initial assessment or first appointment booked with a call, only if you have booked 3 or more days before our call date. We typically call 2 days before your booked appointment.
Massage Therapy Booking
Massage Therapists are primary healthcare professionals and a referral from a physician is not required to access their services. It is important to note that some extended health care plans require a physician's referral for you to be reimbursed. If you require a referral or are unsure whether massage therapy could benefit you. an appointment can be made with our Sports Medicine physicians.
We offer 1/2 hour, 45 minute and 1 hour appointments. Please note some assessment time may be required during your appointment.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time, as there may be some paperwork for you to fill out.
Physician Booking
Physicians' consultations are covered by OHIP. All other services (cortisone shots, hyaluronic injections, etc) may have an additional fee. Please see section "Special Procedures".
